Jakarta Provincial Government gives post-disaster aid for North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The aid will be used to renovate 12 damaged schools due to earthquake.

Fund for its renovation will be taken from Jakarta Government's financial aid (Bankeu) worth Rp 19.2 billion through Jakarta APBD-P 2018.

"On behalf of Jakarta Government and all Jakartans, I will pray for our brothers in North Lombok for not giving up and be able to return to their normal activities," said Anies Baswedan, Jakarta Governor after welcoming a visit from North Lombok Regent, Najmul Akhyar, City Hall, Wednesday (12/19).
He hopes the renovation aid could be realized as soon as possible.
"We want children in North Lombok can go back to school in a comfortable place," he stated.
Meanwhile, North Lombok Regent, Dr. H. Najmul Akhyar, SH expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Jakarta Government's aid that has been given to North Lombok.
"Thank you Mr. Governor, Jakarta Government and all Jakartans," he conveyed.
On the occasion, Jakarta Government and North Lombok Regency also signed Cooperation Agreement regarding Post-Earthquake Building Construction Aid and Supporting Facilities for SMPN 2 Tanjung.
This school building aid is from Jakarta Government ASN fundraising with a total of Rp 4.4 billion.
